Or, more precisely, cycling from London to Dervio: this is my home town in Italy and I’ve always been a member of the cycling section of Unione Sportiva Derviese. I drove a car from London to Dervio and back, I did the same a few years ago with a motorbike: before turning 40, I wanted to see if I could cycle the distance (one way only, I took a flight back). This is the bike that I used, a standard Trek 1.2 with rear rack and bags. I have only replaced the wheels with two Shimano R500, two standard commuting wheels.
